One such document is the ration card which every Indian citizen must avail for it has numerous benefits. It has made our work run smoothly and besides that it also acts as a proof that we are Indian if we are in possession of the Ration card. This card has proved to be of more help to all Indians especially the middle class and poor families in India because having this card from the government means that you can avail food grains, kerosene, rice, sugar, wheat, flour, etc on a very subsidized rate.
Another very important part that this card plays for Indians is that it acts as a supporting document when someone has to apply for the domicile certificate or for applying for the Voter's ID card. This uniquely significant document can be obtained anywhere in India provided you are an Indian citizen. A ration card however is valid only within the area where one resides. The headquarters are found in all capital cities of India where the document is actually prepared and sent for each individual. One can avail the Ration card from the circle office or the Disha center. From this office an application form called the Form number D can be obtained which is used for making a new ration card. These days it has become easier for the government of India now has made provisions where one can download the application form online from http://jansahayak.gov.in. The same can be then submitted to the Circle office or the Disha center.
The application form needs to be submitted to the circle office during the working hours which is between 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Some of the documents that need to be submitted during the submission of the application form such as:

After gathering all the above mentioned documents one should approach the Circle Office or the Disha center of your area on a working day and between the working hours. Then on submitting the application form and the said documents you will be given an acknowledgement receipt for the same.
